Γεννήθηκε στο Παλαιομέτοχο το 1948. Σπούδασε ζωγραφική στο Cambridge College  of Art. Το έργο του κινείται  στο πλαίσιο του εξπρεσιονισμού και διακρίνεται για τους έντονους χρωματικούς συνδυασμούς.  Έχει παρουσιάσει το έργο του σε ατομικές εκθέσεις στην Κύπρο και το εξωτερικό.

Renos Loizou was born in Cyprus. He lived and worked in his adoptive town of Cambridge, where he had permanent exhibitions in numerous Cambridge college collections, as well as at the famous Jim Ede Collection at Kettles Yard where he had a one man show in 1983. Since 1984, he had been closely associated with the Christopher Hull Gallery, and his work had frequently been exhibited at the Royal Academy.
